More crochet today! This time though just a little flower that I've added a little bit of embroidery too, and then stitched it to a fabric covered button. 

It is a nice way to add a lacy detail to a button. And it isn't just something that you have crocheted - it is always worth remembering that any little piece of lace can be added to a plain cloth button. It is a really easy way to make buttons.

I've used cotton perle No 12 for the crochet and embroidery.

A little bit of tablet weaving for today's button. I'm working on a set of instructions to go with our new loom kit (due in August) and thought, how can I make the weaving into a little button? So, a toggle it is. 

I've used No 12 perle for the weaving, so the band itself isn't too wide.

Something a little more cheery today - some bright colours for a change. Now to hope the weather follows suit!

A little embroidery using DMC stranded cotton. The lemon is stitched using split stitch, I like how it gives a little bit of texture. Easily pleased, me!

Now, it will be a fun 2 weeks waiting on my glasses...
