Day 103: Eostre
Happy Easter to you all!
An oval doodle button for today. Oval buttons are a fair bit harder to wrap than other shapes, but they do look nice when you do. I've seen a few historic examples - mostly seem to date from around the 1910-20s sort of era, and are usually made with cords. Of course, the shape can also be used to make a covered button and that is far more simple to do!
I've used a No 20 mould and No 12 perle thread.
