Day 194 : Bubbles

Day 194 : Bubbles

A little different today - using stamps and ink as well as some wrapping and as you can see, beads. Another picture where you can't see all of the colours, as there is some very pale yellow distress ink on the fabric that my daylight lamp has just blown out.

Ah, the sun came out today! Thank goodness - feeling a bit more like the right time of year.  We went for a nice long walk today, really needed it.
I hope you all had a good day too.

Day 193 : Particle

Day 193 : Particle

Hmm... This is a looking a little crooked in the photo. I think it is the way the light is casting the shadow in the gaps. It doesn't look that way in real life.

Well, I have been in what we used to call "a funk" all week. Just a general bad mood all round, for no reason. Silly things have gone wrong or irritated me. The mood hasn't left yet, so hopefully a good night's sleep and no alarm tomorrow will clear it.

I hope you are all having a good weekend though!

Day 192 : Glyph

Day 192 : Glyph - One Button a Day 2020 by Gina Barrett

Day 192 : Glyph

Today's doodle button is a little different in that the the base is a woven buttons, not a ring button. Using a solid button mould can be a little difficult when doodling, as you have to pass the needle under threads, not through to the back, but if you start out with an interesting base design it can work very well.

I've used both No 8 and No 12 cotton perle and a No 3 mould. (Back to basics!)
