Day 284 : Souffle
Mark named today's button. A traditional style - most often made with soutache but really many braids and cords can be used. I was actually trying out a way of doing the centre to see if I could make it easier for a beginner. Not quite yet! I'll figure it out.
I hope that you are all having a good weekend - weather has slightly improved for us, forecast a bit brighter tomorrow, so time to check the last of the veg in our garden. One lettuce got really soggy in the bad weather a while back, so I left it. It has now gone to seed, quite an impressive plant actually!

Love the look of bolted lettuce and such - very artistic often. I have a painting of a weed bolted and gone to seed done by a friend - makes me smile every day. any more veg in the garden? Did you get any more kale after the evil bug attack? Salad for supper here I think.

Well, all the veg is still in the garden. You should email me infoATginabsilkworksDOTcoDOTuk so I can fill you in. But yes, there is some more kale, which I am keen to get as Mark has decided he really likes it cooked crisy in the air fryer!
