Day 283 : Spin

Day 283 : Spin - One Button a Day 2020 by Gina Barrett

Day 283 : Spin

A little button today - and one that I really should have worked larger. That's because I tried something different, but you really need to peer at it to see it, so I will have to try the same thing on something larger, just to see if it does look as different as I thought.

Well, long week and I am going to have a little lie-in tomorrow I think. I hope that you all have a very good weekend.

Size: 18mm / 3⁄4" / 28L

  1. When I enlarged the picture I could see what you mean about needing a larger mold and maybe a larger, crisp thread - the green spikey spriral in the center would be more emphatic and the golden chain effect around the edge would be really spectacular in a passing gold! Very passementarie!
Hope you enjoyed the lie-in and a peaceful day of puttering, with a nice pot of soup to finish - I always think soup when the weather gets dismal on me.
Stay warm, dry, and well. Hugs to all. Charlotte xxx

    1. You know, you are quite right, I haven't really used enough metal thread in my buttons this year. I'll have to plan a remedy for this. :)
A bit of a puttering day today - well, working on new kits, but at this stage that is enjoyable! I agree, we are getting close to soup and stew weather. Mmmm
Stay well, cool and hydrated! xx
