Day 229 : Mandala V
Back to the good ole doodle button in earnest today. Such a good way to unwind. I'm planning to do a little challenge over in the Gina-B Silkworks facebook group next month, challenging members to create a doodle button - everyone to start with the same foundation wraps. I just have to work out the nitty-gritty, but I'm sure there will be a little giveaway incentive too.
We've finally had some rain to break the heat for us - rather later than for many here in the UK. In fact, at one point today we thought it was going to miss us entirely as it was raining - a proper downpour - in the field next to us. But Mark just carried on weeding and it did not rain over the house. Very weird.
I've used cotton perle 8 for this one.

Rain? You got rain? So envious - we have to make do with the lawn sprinklers! I guess I'll have to have Don get me into the facebook group (not an on-line learner but have and use almost all kits, books and dvds)(he was the big order late last year) and a set challenge would do me good. ReplyDeleteWe've had some pretty nasty storms - thankfully so far no power cuts, but I am half expecting it. It is nice that you haven't got water shortages and can still use your sprinklers. That cools the air when you are near them.
