Day 361 : Titania

Day 361 : Titania

A little more sparkle today. Well, if you can't sparkle in a holiday week, when can you?

I would like to say that I have had a really productive day, but I slept in, walked Toby, looked through the new books (lovely) and sorted some button moulds. So a really lazy day. And I feel much better for it! I hope that you are all well.

  1. The wretched machine just ate the first writing on this page - !!!!!!!. Some day I may figure out how not to disappear things but not today.
I think having a sleep in and a walk with the best pup is a great way to spend a morning and as for looking at books - well, it just doesn't get much better. And you did get a smidgeon of work sorting done so it was a very productive day! Glad you had a merry Boxing Day!
The tree branch with ornaments and spider was just lovely and inventive (invisible thread?) I do love that story - just shows that anything goes on a Christmas tree!
And the Baileys cap was sweet - the rim of sequins was just right. I think Yoko's bottle caps are just sort of "ad astra" for ordinary mortals but something lovely to aim for.
We've had a nice quiet time of it here - noisy neighbor actually turned of his car radio before spending several minutes parking and adjusting himself so most people within earshot could go back to sleep. Temperature has been ok and the fires are under control so this next week looks all right. The time between Christmas and New Year has been the period when I get really wired up and get lots of stuff done (stems from the only free time with no school) but since Don retired I've eased off and this year I seem to be still in couch potato mode. There are some little stirrings of energy -I will try to fan them into a flame! Hold good thoughts, please? Thanks;)
The green satin button today is lovely- Rita Hayworth in a green satin dress with this button anchoring the pleats in her cleavage - super!
Do stay warm and dry and well and hugs all around. Charlotte xxx

    1. Did your flames grow? I hope so! I intend to have one more lazy day and then must get back to the paperwork, but figure most else can wait. I need a break so couch potato mode isn't always a bad thing. I'm glad that it has been quiet for you - it is an odd year all round, so glad that your neighbour was considerate!
I'm trying to plan something nice for the last button, but am not sure I will be able to come up with anything special.
Yoko's buttons all use a much larger ring than I have been able to find, so I will be on it when we get back to work and make Mark cut some ;)
Take care both of you, stay safe and warm and cosy! xxx
