Day 290 : Floof
Today's button is made up of an inkle woven tape, twisted cord and a pompom. Might be the influence of kittens in the house making me create pompoms two nights in a row?
The tape is a smallish piece I had left over, it has a double row of dots and that gives the appearance of little beads.
Friday! What a week. I'm really looking forward to a lie-in haha!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Size : 27mm / 1 1⁄16" / 42L
I do love your fearless combining of materials and textures - so very, very encouraging to try whatever catches the eye, to play , to doodle. I am still making myself assemble things out of the "it is stitched, now what do I do" box. Had an expedition to the big box store for bias tape and heavy duty vilene - so strange to be in a store other than the food stores. It doesn't help that this particular store has been on the throes of remodeling for a year or more and haven't finished yet. Completely rearranged and redesigned - very irritating! I feel the same about going to the grocers and they have rearranged things - like the cat coming into a room where you have moved the furniture around, very hincky!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend. Hope it is not pouring rain or blasting arctic cold. Do give the viking kits a cuddle from me - even a vicarious cat fix is good! Stay well. C in C xx
You know, I don't think I've been into a shop other than a food shop. I have been to the hairdresser though. Oh and the garage. I honestly don't know how I would feel - well done you!
DeleteI think mixing things up may have to do with collage work when I was young. I like different textures.
Those Viking kits are sweet and cuddly - eating like no-one's business and playing and purring. Exploring everywhere. I'm really getting a good kitty fix with those two! Your picture is perfect xx Stay safe and well xxx
