Day 262 : Jet

OK, my naming is very obscure today. There is a method in my madness I promise, it just takes a while to get there. But, if I have given you another earworm, so be it :)

Odd sort of day today, but I am glad that it is Friday! I really do intend to have a lie-in tomorrow.

Have any of you tried a doodle button yet?

Have a great weekend all!

  1. WOOO-HOOOO! I am about to get a new laptop with a solid connection between keyboard and screen! No more wiggling and jiggling and swearing! And I went stark raving mad and looked at a comparison of different blog providers - I think you may be leading me into strange places. Of course we can just figure out how to straight e-mail back and forth. Anyhow, somethings are progressing. I just bought a truly fabulous portfolio of embroidery patterns from Bucovina area of Ukraine/Romania, first published in 1912 and reproduced by the Ukrainian Women's Association of Canada in 1974. It is one of the Grail books for Ukrainian embroidery - I'm still reeling from its' arrival. And some of the tiny motifs will look spiffy embroidered on buttons! Hope almost-cat decides to move in soon - I tremble for her crossing the road. Stay well and warm. Regards to M and T. C in C xxx

    1. Great news about the laptop!
Wow, the book sounds wonderful! There is nothing quite like the arrival of a proper, long awaited book. I know ebooks are more convenient for so many things, but some NEED to be proper books, to be appreciated as such.
We worry for her too. xxx

  2. Earthquake not bad - think of very large lorries driving by the house - rattles the windows, makes the chandelier sway, might make the cat look - nearer the epicenter might throw stuff off shelves but not likely - this one is only 4.8. Worry when they tell you we had a 7.5 or 8, but not until. Didn't even stop the internet! C in C xxxx

    1. Gosh, this year just keeps sending stuff though doesn't it? Glad it wasn't bad. We had a few when we were in Leics & Rutland. Very odd sort of feeling. Now I have so many lorries go by this house I probably wouldn't even notice haha.
Keep safe and well both xx
