Day 227 : Sweep
OK, I've "sat" on this button for a couple of days. I'm really not sure. But I like it too much to cut it out and start over! And, a little while later, I still feel the same, and won't cut it away, which means it should be part of the challenge!
Well, I'm glad this week is over. Just seems to have been "one of those". Ended on a good note though, a socially distanced visit from the lovely Lou Withers (for those who don't know, a talented demonstrator on Hochanda, and super nice person to boot!) at the unit. So nice to catch up - and the new little hands-thingie we both did at the same time to represent a hug was quite funny. The reality of the current times.
Size: 39mm / just over 1 1⁄2" / 52L
Interesting effect - the weaving would lend itself to a broad range of colour and texture - worth experimenting with! Glad you had a nice visit with your friend - phones and screens really can't replace the person six feet away from you. Saw a photo of your buttons on Zack's blue suit - lovely! Linen or silk? Our heat has arrived - 85f where we live and 10 - 15 degrees hotter other parts of the county - don't even think about the desert! So I am reclining in front of the fan absorbing a dish of ice cream and thinking cooling thoughts. Best to you and Mark, and stay well. C in C xx
ReplyDeleteCotton actually! (Finca no 8) The best match for the braid that he had already bought. Thrilling really that it made it to Vogue. Another little name drop opportunity in life. :)
DeleteOh gosh, I'll send you cooling thoughts! Enjoy that ice cream ! stay well xx
I forgot that you have Texas people - now that IS hot! And blizzard and tornadoes and hurricanes and drought - I think I'll stick with my chunk of California! We just have an earthquake once in a while. Let's have ice cream! Stay well. xx
