Day 108 : Nodulous
I like this button! It's a sort of knobby pompom, and has its roots in the Italian linen tassel techniques of the 16th and 17th centuries. I've then stitched the knots to a simple ring button. What you can't see is that the button is 8mm high. I do like textiles with texture - this one wants to be touched!
I've used No 101 ring and perle cotton No 12.
