Today's button is - I'm sorry - reverting back to an old favourite colour combination. I don't even know I am doing it... I guess in real life this pretty much is me. I love darker blues and indigos, and tend to wear tops in shades of pink. So perhaps this is just me in jeans and a favourite top...

Day 285 : Square Knot

Well, you actually can't see it - but this knot is over a square bead. I was really chuffed with how it turned out. 

It has been a very eventful day. I'll elaborate later on, nothing dreadful or anything, but I'm actually pretty tired out and now have a fair bit of regular things to catch up on!

Mark named today's button. A traditional style - most often made with soutache but really many braids and cords can be used. I was actually trying out a way of doing the centre to see if I could make it easier for a beginner. Not quite yet! I'll figure it out. 

I hope that you are all having a good weekend - weather has slightly improved for us, forecast a bit brighter tomorrow, so time to check the last of the veg in our garden. One lettuce got really soggy in the bad weather a while back, so I left it. It has now gone to seed, quite an impressive plant actually!
